Bio

Rae Spoon is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the fields of music, sound, writing, theatre, video, animation, new media and community art. They have appeared in, produced and/or directed several music videos and was the subject/performer in the Sundance musical documentary, My Prairie Home. Rae has engaged in several collaborative art projects including public art project, Warauf Wartest Du? (Berlin 2009), multimedia theatre projects, Gender Failure (2012) and You Are Here (2007). They have been facilitating community art projects internationally since 2008 in music and writing. Rae is currently investigating how to best expressed lived health care experiences using film, video, animation and new media.
